I have had a difficult time trying to navigate motherhood and being an artist for a while now. I decided I was going to revisit my favorite and forgotten mediums to see if it would help me creatively (as a whole). I visited watercolor, resin, clay, beading, painting (again) and then fabrics.

FUN FACT: I originally aspired to be a fashion designer, earned a full ride to AIU … but it didn’t pan out as planned.

Here I am today falling in love with fabric and all its glory, and with a gratitude to be able to create with a (busy stay at home mom) pace. No other medium I have found would allow me to stay focused, challenge me, and create a true style of my own. Thank you fabric and sewing machine. Thank you motherhood. Thank you Ruby for the inspiration. Thank you husband for allowing me to find something new and true to my soul. I hope you enjoy what is yet to come!!
