As my business is evolving and growing I find myself thinking about how creating plushies with intention and attention to detail is so humbling.

The process of crafting the idea, item, and execution of materializing an idea into existence makes my skin tingle! I only wish I had more time to design fun stickers to include in packaging and maybe fun tapes, boxes….the list is forever long.

Reminding myself good things come in time and to enjoy the journey of Soft Sprinkles is what it’s all about! Constantly trying to stay afloat in my sea of ideas is exhausting, but when I get into the sewing room… the seas calm & I float blissfully on a creative cloud. Forgetting time exists and my body somehow isn’t hungry, board, or has needs … other than to allow my ideas to come into fruition.

2000 was a pivotal year for me… I was becoming a young woman, attracted to things “old” people enjoyed. Handcrafted bowls, jewelry, dolls, ornaments… things crafted with talent, craftsmanship, and intention. That year of creative growth has always stuck with me… that and the movie Autumn in New York…. Lol

I find myself 22 years later producing a version of those things I fell I love with, items created with so much love, craftsmanship, and intention.
